OEKO-TEX® - Standard 100
An independent testing and certification system for textile raw materials, intermediate and end products at all stages of production. OEKO-TEX® tests for harmful substances, focusing on the actual use of the textile. The more intensive the skin contact of the product the stricter the human ecological requirements. All our products have been tested for harmful substances according to Oeko-Tex Standard 100.
David J Heffer & Associates
All Protect-A-Bed ® branded products have also been independently quality tested in Australia by textile technologists David J Heffer & Associates. David J Heffer is a Chartered Textile Technologist and is an Associate of the Textile Institute, the world-wide professional body for textile experts.

We require all of our suppliers to abide by our standards in relation to human rights, environmental and ethical business practices and uphold the principles within the Ethical Trading Initiative (ETI) which we abide by.
What we expect
All suppliers and partners must have a formal policy that outlines their approach to managing environmental impacts within their control. Suppliers must comply with local and national laws related to environmental standards and adhere to the principles set out by the Greenpeace Detox Movement which is committed to a toxic free future for people and the environment by the removal of hazardous chemicals from the entire production process for household textiles, garment textiles and footwear.
